Shown at EICMA in November 2016, the T7 was a functional rally-style adventure prototype built on the MT-07 twin platform but with a new chassis. Yamaha developed it with its French rally team, its Italian R&D centre and GK Design in the Netherlands. Details included a carbon fairing and skid plate, four-projector LED headlight, KYB suspension and an Akrapovič exhaust.
